Murray County is located in the northwestern part of the U.S state of Georgia. • Court proceedings during the prosecution of the case 
• Availability of compensation for victims of violent crime 
• Parole or change of status of the defendant, if you request in writing 
• Release dates of the accused 
• Availability of victim service programs 

In addition, the law states that victims have the right to express their opinions on the release dates of the accused pending court proceedings and complete a victim impact statement.
