Offenders arrested in Harris County go through a classification process in county jails. If the inmate’s security status requires transfer to a state facility, the department of corrections takes over. Court rulings on a case can also course an inmate to be handed to the department of corrections depending on security level and sentence.
In such a case, the inmate records are provided by the Georgia DOC. You can search for an inmate on their website using the inmate’s name, address, or DOC number. It is worth noting the department does not take responsibility for any wrong that may arise from the misuse of information provided on the department of corrections website.
Inmate Search Using the Sex Offender Registry
