FCSO operates under Sheriff Ron Freeman, in charge of the FCSO’s Administrative Bureau. Forsyth County Inmate Search

FCSO operates the Forsyth County jail at Veterans Memorial Boulevard, 202, Cobb, Georgia 30040. The facility is an adult medium-security jail that incarcerates all inmates in the county who cannot pay bail or are denied bail by the court until they can receive a court verdict.

The jail is also home to individuals sentenced to one year for low misdemeanors. In addition, the GA DOC utilizes the facility for reentry programs for state prisoners. As the jail is the primary destination for almost all inmates, if you want to conduct a Forsyth County Inmate Search, then the inmate inquiry tool on the jail’s website is the first place you should check.

The Forsyth County Jail maintains all records of inmates under their care and prepares an inmate search tool with information on all the inmates under their supervision. The inquiry tool is searchable by the offender’s name. You can get information on the inmate inquiry tool, such as the offender’s personal, criminal, arrest, and court records.

The inquiry tool is also accessible via third-party websites. Sometimes, these websites request processing service fees. Again, their records may differ from the ones on the official documents.

How to perform a Forsyth Inmate Search by Phone

At times, the inmate may not be in the jail, have not yet arrived, or have recently been released or transferred. In such a case, you can only locate them by phone or in person. You can call the jail division at 770-781-2226.

You can provide all your information on the inmate over the phone, as the jail division will need it since they do not know what the offender looks like. You can request that the search results be sent to you by mail or collect them in person at the jail.

Using the GA Statewide Offender Search

If you cannot locate an inmate using the inquiry tool, by phone or in person, you can visit the GA statewide inmate search. This database has information on all inmates incarcerated in Georgia county, state, and federal prisons.

Forsyth County Sex Offender Registry

If the offender is a sex offender, they must be in the sex offender registry that the FCSO maintains and updates. The registry is searchable by name and geographical location.
