Dooly County Inmate Search

The DCSO manages the Dooly County Jail, a medium-sized jail facility constructed in 1927. The facility has a capacity of 96 beds but has other detention cells and a hall. The facility accepts inmates from the whole county, brought into the facility by federal, state, and local enforcement agencies.

These individuals are arrested for violations of state, federal, and county laws, and ordinances; the respective agencies then book them. If they are denied or cannot afford bail, they must be brought into the facility as county guests until their cases are through.

The jail administration has a strategy to ensure they manage and know how many people are in the facility. And with most individuals in jail for an average of 21 days, the administration must know how to ensure that they are released, taken to court, incarcerated, and transferred to other prisons.

The facility maintains an online jail roster that they check daily and update regularly.
